How do I donate books to the library system?
Community members are encouraged to drop off clean, current books to any library location with a Friends of the Library group. The library is not able to accept textbooks or out-of-date materials.
Can I use my Riverside Public Library card at a Riverside County Library location?
You are welcome to apply for a Riverside County Library System card. You can not use your RPL card at a Riverside County Library location.
How do I log into my account?
Please access your account to view what you have checked out, your holds and to pay your fines.
Can I find eBooks, eAudiobooks, eVideo or eMusic in the catalog?
Some eBooks and eAudiobooks can be found in the catalog. Search the Digital Library page for more electronic collection options.
How do I get help for kids with their homework/tutoring?
The library offers study rooms, books in the library and many online resources. Review the resources in the Digital Library for learning assistance.
Does the library offer tax assistance?
There are many resources in the county where community members can find assistance. Library staff do not assist with tax preparation.
What type of ADA accessible equipment does the library have?
Each library offers a variety of services, please contact your local library to find out more.
Are service dogs allowed in the library?
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), service animals are welcomed and permitted in all Riverside County Library System facilities. Per ADA, service dogs are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. For details, please see ADA requirements for service animals. No other animals are permitted.
Can I drop off my ballot at the library? Can I pick up a ballot form at the library?
Many locations serve as a ballot drop off or polling location. California voters can not pick up ballots from the library.
Do you offer homebound services?
Yes, please inquire at your local branch for information regarding this service.
Can I authorize a person to pick up holds for me?
Yes, you can add an additional person to your account who will then have privileges to pick up holds for you.
